The audiovisual industry is increasingly aware of sustainability principles and is starting to integrate them into its practices and routines. There is a growing awareness of the need to adopt sustainable measures at all stages from pre-production to distribution. This includes looking for locations and studios that adhere to environmental standards, implementing diversity and inclusion policies in cast and crew, reducing resource waste during filming and promoting ethical practices concerning labor rights. This panel will explore how the industry can adopt sustainable measures to minimize its environmental and social impact, thus contributing to a more balanced and conscious future.

Rodrigo Gonçalves Abreu | Palestrante
Rodrigo Abreu, an art educator, director, performer, and activist, fights institutional violence as CEO of Casa OJO (since 2022), focusing on ESG, D&I, and Human Rights. Former advisor to São Paulo councilwoman, now federal deputy, Erika Hilton (2020-2021). Led Art Direction at Instituto Criar, empowering youth in São Paulo's fringe neighborhoods (2018-2020). Pursuing a Master's in art education at UNESP, researching artivist methods for historically oppressed groups.
Thiego Balteiro | Moderador
Founding partner of Live On - Behavior and Sustainability, Thiego Balteiro has more than 20 years of experience in the development and production of audiovisual projects. After finishing your Masters in Science of Sustainability, has been dedicated to curating festivals in the areas of Sustainability, Science and Behavior. Thiego is a consultant for socio-environmental impact projects and is the presenter of the podcast "Qual é a Sua?", focused on behavioral change. He was the winner of the 2021 Circular Design Challenge at Ghent University and a finalist in the Behavioral Design Challenge for Water Pollution at the Rare Center for Behavior & The Environment.

Journalist, with experience in content in audiovisual productions for over 10 years. Passionate about sustainability, she combined her formation with the topic, especially waste management. Therefore, she became an consultant and ambassador for the Instituto Lixo Zero Brasil. Focused on operation, creation and engagement, through consultancy she seeks to make an impact to transform through sustainability.
