Diego Martinez | Palestrante

At Riot Games since 2016, Diego Martinez holds the position of General Manager in the company's Brazil office. Among his main functions, he is responsible for the results and sustainability of initiatives to publish Games in the country, as well as the development of businesses and experiences that go beyond the relationship that the different audiences served by Riot Games have with their universes, in partnership with the Esports and Entertainment verticals. Economist, graduated from Unicamp, he is specialized in Business from Stanford University and the University of Virginia, and in Business Administration from Insper.

Former Head of Games and eSports at Globo, he led the spin-off of this unit, transferring the electronic sports assets developed at Globo, to found the Player1 Gaming Group, with investment from Globo Ventures. Professional with over 20 years of experience in Venture Building, in the Entertainment, Sports and Games segments, he led business and biz dev areas, launching numerous initiatives in companies such as Globo, Geo Eventos, Grupo RBS. Graduated in Business Administration from UFSC, postgraduate in Marketing Management from FGV, MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, and Board Member from IBGC.
