One of the biggest supporters of gaming worldwide, Intel has established a robust strategy that involves not only sponsorship, events, and activations, but also an intense partnership with key figures in the scene, including Cherrygums, who, in this panel, talks with Guto Buarque, marketing director, about the importance of this ecosystem for the brand.

Guto Buarque | Palestrante

Carlos Augusto "Guto" Buarque is the marketing director at Intel Brazil. At Intel since 2013, he is responsible for plans, strategies and campaigns that position Intel's innovation and technological leadership in the market. He is also responsible for engaging with the final consumer throughout the Brazilian territory. Guto is a member of the Strategic Marketing Committee of AMCHAM Brazil. He has a bachelor´s degree in Computer Engineering from UNICAMP and an MBA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and experience in other companies in the technology industry including Telefonica, Dell and Oracle.

Nicolle Merhy, aka Cherrygumms, is one of the most important voices in Brazilian esports, nominated, by Forbes, as the most important female reference in games and esports in Brazilian scenario. She was nominated as a Forbes Under 30 in 2019 as one of the top Brazilian talents for being CEO of one of the most famous Brazilian e-sports team, Black Dragons. Because of that, she was invited to the Brazilian Senate to debate and defend e-sports regulation. She worked with more than 50 brands in Brazil and around the world and she is currently the gaming ambassador and consultant for famous brands such as Nike, Corsair, Acer (Predator), Next Bank, Fusion Energy Drink (Ambev), O Boticário and LATAM.
