We call "Content for change" works that make a difference in society, and this year we have a session dedicated to this theme. The pitching sessions are an opportunity for producers and creators to present their projects to national and international market players. Dani Tolomei | Apresentação

Dani has worked on feature films in NYC, was a partner in a production company and manager at Globo, leading a team of over 500 people. With a degree in Media Production from Marymount, a specialization in production from NYU and a MBA in Business Management, Dani has always looked for non-obvious paths for audiovisual projects. Looking at innovation, she specialized in DT, Lean and Agile. In 2020, with Leo Edde, launched Transformação Audiovisual and translated Lean management philosophy, agile and DT into "creativeness", creating the Agile Audiovisual method. With mentorships, courses and workshops for Sebrae, Rio2C, MaxMinas and IAG PUC-Rio, it has trained +200 av professionals throughout Brazil.

Estela Renner | Júri do Pitching

Estela Renner is a film director, screenwriter, producer, and co-founder of the social and environmental impact studio Maria Farinha Films (B Corp). With over 40 films produced, she created, wrote, and directed the fictional series Aruanas, seen by over 30 million people, and directed and wrote documentaries seen in over 190 countries, such as "Way Beyond Weight" and "The Beginning of Life". Currently, she is writing the international fictional series "Esperanza" with Marcos Nisti, in partnership with Participant, with a focus on climate justice. Her work has generated concrete impact on social behavior and public policies. Estela was a speaker at two editions of SXSW.

Tiago Ornaghi has been dedicated to nonfiction audio-visual for over twenty years, having worked for independent production companies and TV Globo shows. He is currently ahead of Globoplay's non-scripted Originals - having led the production of hit series such as “Boate Kiss” and “Vale o escrito”. He holds an MA and an MBA from Columbia University.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a major in Journalism and Cinema, Ilda Santiago is one of the founders and business partner at Estação Group – a 35-year-old company, reference in art-house distribution/exhibition in Brazil, responsible for the acquisitions of over 400 titles. She is a co-founder and programming executive director for the Rio de Janeiro Int’l Film Festival. She has organized retrospectives in Brazil as well as curated Brazilian series (Premiere Brazil) in New York (MoMA), Berlin, Lisbon, Beijing and Washington DC. Correspondent for Brazilian film to the Cannes Film Festival. Member of Ibero-Latin Academy (Premios Platinos) and of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Arts (AMPAS).

I have been part of the GloboNews team since the beginning of the channel in 1996. Since then, I went through in almost all news shows. In the program area, I was editor-in-chief of GloboNews Especial and later worked on the renovation of Jornal das Dez in 2012. In the same year, I coordinated the coverage of the municipal elections. I also coordinated the coverage of the 2016 Olympic Games and 2018 World Cup. I am curently responsible for the documentary curatorship, and the executive-editor of the Cobertura Especial de Domingo. Before GloboNews, i worked as a reporter for the Jornal do Brasil.

Mariana is the founder of tva2.doc, a production company focusing on impact documentaries. She is credited with "Incompatible with Life," named Best Documentary of 2023 by APCA, the top film at It's All True, and a nominee for the Platino Awards; "Your turn" (2019), which garnered over 25 awards in 120 festivals, including Amnesty International and the Peace Prize at the Berlinale and "The Trigger" (2014), nominated to represent Rio at the Emmy Awards. She holds a degree in Communication, a postgraduate degree from COPPEAD, specialization in Production from NYFA, and an extension in "Media, Violence, and Human Rights".
