Professional with 25 years of experience working primarily in the advertising and marketing industry with passages through large multinational agencies in Brazil and the USA, such as Publicis Group, Mccann Worldgroup and DM9/DDB leading campaigns for brands such as Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Sony, Ambev and Walmart. He has been working exclusively in sports marketing for 10 years, first as CMO of Corinthians between 2015 and 2017, then Commercial Director at FPF in 2019 and carried out projects for CBF such as the advertising campaign for the 2018 World Cup and CBF Brazil Football Expo. He took over as CMO of Brazil Olympic Committee in 2022.

As a Basketball Operations Director of Latin America for the National Basketball Association, Daniel Soares is responsible for the multiple basketball initiatives in the region and manages the relationship with international players in the League, teams, National Federations throughout the region.. Prior of joining the NBA, Daniel worked with the Brazilian National Federation (CBB) as a Basketball Operations manager responsible for both men’s and women’s National teams that qualified for the London Olympic Games. Daniel is a former student Athlete at the George Washington University. After college, Daniel went on to play professional Basketball for 10 years mostly in Brazil and Europe.
