Sampling culture has played a crucial role in shaping contemporary music production, profoundly influencing the way artists create and express their art. We will discuss the impact that sampling has on the construction of new sounds and musical genres, as well as its role in preserving and recontextualizing cultural elements. What are the ethical and legal challenges associated with the use of pre-existing material, including issues of copyright, intellectual property and how these challenges may influence the future evolution of this practice in the music industry.

One of the biggest and most sought-after Brazilian producers nowadays, Ruxell is an artist from Inbraza, his own urban pop label with Pablo Bispo. He started with 12 years old as musician and 2011 as DJ / producer. His jingles "Ruxell no Beat" and "Ruxell Beat Envolvente" are already spread throughout Brazil and as an artist and producer, Ruxell has reached 5 billion plays. Anitta, Pabllo Vittar, Gloria Groove, Lexa and, above all, IZA, have launched songs formatted in the studio with Ruxell's beats and since then the artist has ascended his career. His sound is a mixture of Afrobeat, funk, trap, and Brazilian music, giving rise to the genre Popular Brazilian Electronic Music.

Cico Voador

Marcele Oliveira is a cultural producer, communicator and climate activist. Executive Director of Perifalab, she has a degree in Cultural Production from UFF - Niterói and be master of ceremonies at Circo Voador, integrating the Communication team of the house since 2019. She works as a presenter, mediator, facilitator and content producer on various fronts. In the third sector, she is co-founder of the Climate to Change Coalition, working with research on Climate Justice and Environmental Racism linked to the agendas of occupation of public spaces and the right to the city.

DJ Tamy | Palestrante

DJ and producer, Tamy and Residente in some projects and have released their music. He has already been present on the Voz das peripherias Program on Rádio Roquete Pinto, was on air as a resident DJ on the Festa Mix program on Mix Rio FM, was the protagonist of the Program “When they play” on the BIS channel, and was a resident DJ on the TVZ program. Winner of the WME Awards in the DJ category, elected best Hip Hop DJ by DJane MAG magazine, and honored by the National Front of Women in Hip Hop. Tamy is also an advisor to Rede NAMI, an NGO that works on the topic of Graffiti and women's rights, and is a precursor of the #BlackPopMusic movement and communicator.
