At Rio2C, Globo executives and talent discuss the power of Brazilian audiovisual content in a market with strong international competition. What sets Brazilian content apart? How can it remain relevant in this great competition for viewers' attention? With an annual investment of R$5 billion in content and technology, the company is one of the biggest promoters of the sector and of independent producers. In the panel 'Acontece Globo: A commitment to Brazil', Globo will share its knowledge, beliefs and bets on this market with the event's audience, highlighting technological and creative innovation, the ability to make ambitious projects viable and the importance of content in the social debate on important causes for the country's development.

Mr. Belmar is the Chief Financial, Legal Officer and Infrastructure since 2020 and Head of Digital Products and Channel Networks since February 2024. Formerly he served as Chief Financial Officer of Globosat, from 2009 to 2019. From 2017 on he held also the position of Chief Operation Officer of Globosat, which included the responsibilities for Technology & Engineering, Advertising Sales and Digital Transformation. Mr. Belmar started his career at Banco Real and, in 1987, joined Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, from Italy, as Chief Commercial Officer. In 2003, he joined Grupo Globo as treasurer of Infoglobo, and later became the Chief Financial Officer, until his appointment as CFO of Globosat, in 2009.

She joined Globo in 2019, leading the implementation of the new Commercial strategy during the merger of open TV, pay TV channels, digital platforms, and streaming into a single media group in 2020. In 2021, she assumed the role of General Director of Advertising Business, focusing on accelerating digital transformation through AdTech, innovation, data strategy, and customized solutions for advertisers. She worked at Experian Brazil, responsible for Sales Channels, Commercial Strategy, B2B Marketing, and Customer Experience. With a degree in Electrical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in systems and computing, she worked at IBM and PwC, emphasizing business development and client relationships.

Amauri Soares is the Head of TV Globo Channel. He is a journalist and has been in television for 35 years. Amauri was editor-in-chief of Jornal Nacional and director of Fantástico. At Globo, he was also executive director of journalism, director of events and director of programming. Since 2002, Amauri has been a member of the board of the International Academy of Television.

One of the main presenters in the country, acting as anchor of ‘Jornal das Dez’ on Globo News and on duty at ‘Jornal Nacional’ on TV Globo. At Globo since 2016, she has 20 years of experience as an anchor, reporter and producer in the main newspapers. He is also currently a columnist for Vogue. Journalist admired and recognized for her work, with emphasis on political and current affairs coverage, she brings a voice with a powerful positioning, combined with sensitivity and empathy. She received awards such as the Woman Press Trophy, Vladimir Herzog for Human Rights, Esso Award and SEBRAE. She has a degree in Journalism and postgraduate degree in Human Sciences, Sociology, History and Philosophy

Ana Paula Araújo was born in Rio de Janeiro. She has a degree in Communication from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and, at the age of eighteen, she made her debut in journalism as an intern at Rádio Globo. After moving to television and working on Bom Dia Rio and RJTV, she currently presents Bom Dia Brasil and is part of the rotation of presenters at Jornal Nacional. In 2011, Ana Paula was part of the Globo Journalism team that won the International Emmy award for its coverage of the occupation of Complexo do Alemão the previous year, when it remained on air for eight uninterrupted hours. In 2020, she released the book "Abuso: a cultura do rape no Brasil" by Globo Livros.

Luciano Huck is a TV presenter and one of the biggest influencers in Brazil. He spent 21 years in charge of Caldeirão do Huck, and has been in charge of Domingão with Huck since September 2021. The show is the leader in audience at the time with about 40 million viewers. Luciano believes in high-impact TV with messages of protagonism, empowerment and world change, making entertainment aligned with the responsibilities of the 21st century. In addition to his career in the entertainment industry, Luciano is an active member of several Civil Society Councils. He is also an active citizen in the country's social causes.

Born in São Paulo, Natalia Lara is a 30 year old sports announcer at TV Globo. She started her broadcasting career in 2017, and today has more than 40 sports under her belt. With passages through ESPN, DAZN, TV Cultura, NSports, CBF TV and FPF TV, she arrived at the Globo Group in 2021, and has already broadcast major events such as the World Cup, Olympic, Paralympic and Winter Olympic Games, and various sports and tournaments on the Sportv and Premiere channels. She made her debut on TV Globo in February 2023.
