In this talk, the importance of representation in the creation of characters as a tool to promote anti-racist education will be explored. It will examine how diverse and authentic representations can positively impact children's identity and self-esteem, as well as society's perception of marginalized groups. Gain deep insights into the behind-the-scenes of 'Tiana with Loose Hair' and 'Marvel: Our Power Is Ours,' two projects promoted by Disney in Brazil that directly engage with this theme.

Atuou como professora da educação básica por onze anos. CEO da Mandela Consultoria Antirracista Idealizadora dos cursos Letramento Racial, Educar para a diversidade étnico racial , Onã Infâncias (2020-2021) e da Mentoria Preta Próspera. Premiada, recebeu cinco moções pelo seu trabalho em prol de uma educação antirracista, o Diploma Zumbi dos Palmares e o título de Doutora Honoris Causa.
