Monica Albuquerque is Head of Artistic Talents and Scripted Development at Warner Bros Discovery Latin America. The executive is responsible for leading the developing, hiring and management of actors, hosts, directors and writers for fiction and non-fiction productions. Monica is also responsible for supervising the development of scripted content on HBO Max and linear channels. She is the first Brazilian named among the 50 most influential women with the greatest impact on the world's entertainment industry by the International Women's Impact Report from Variety magazine, in 2019.
