Juh Almeida, was born in Bahia, and today moves between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Since 2010, she has been mixing life and art, focusing on Afrovisualities, expressing herself through cinema. She graduated in cinema at Ufba and is a master's student at USP. She directs music videos, fiction, documentaries, fashion, essay and artistic projects. She is currently a scene director at Pródigo Filmes, where she works directing advertising films. His last significant work was being part of the team of directors of the award-winning and successful soap opera Vai Na Fé on Rede Globo. Juh believes in building new imaginaries as a revolutionary tool for social change.
