Alice Gomes is an awarded screewriter and short film director debuting in feature film with the documentary The Last Abolition (October, 2018). In 2018 she also directed and wrote the short film Blue Balloon. She wrote and directed the children’s short film Colored Pencils (2011), winner of over 25 international awards and selected for 75 festivals around the world, including: Tiradentes Film Festival, Guadalajara Film Festival, Toulouse Film Festival and Chicago Children International Film Festival. She worked as a screenwriter collaborator in the series “DPA – Detetives do Prédio Azul”, created by Flávia Lins for Gloob TV channel.
