Alice Braga was born on April 15, 1983. She is a Brazilian actress and producer and partner at South. She participated in several Brazilian films, mainly as Angélica in the acclaimed Cidade de Deus (2002) and as Karina in Cidade Baixa (2005). She rose to international prominence after starring opposite Will Smith in I Am Legend (2007) and has since become a familiar face in Hollywood, appearing in films such as Repo Men and Predators (both 2010), The Rite (2011) , Elysium (2013), New Mutants (2020) and Suicide Squad (2021); and in the series Rainha do Sul (2016-2021), We Are Who We Are (2020), A Murder at the End of the World (2023) and Dark Matter (2024).
