Carolina Castro

Carol is a Brazilian-Canadian writer/producer based in Rio de Janeiro. Over the last 18 years, she has created and written over a dozen feature films or TV programs for the major distributors and networks in Brazil. She is showrunner of upcoming “Matches”, which premieres 2020 on Warner Channel. Before that, she wrote and became head writer of “Canalhas”, which aired on GNT for 3 seasons.. She wrote “Linda de Morrer” (2015); “Duas de Mim” (2017), and adapted the local version of the international Disney phenomenon, “High School Musical” (2010); produced acclaimed documentary “Cassia”, based on famous local rocker Cassia Eller.
