Québec Apresenta: Creative Territories, The Regional Role in Promoting Innovation and Culture

New Frontier Inovação Futuro Tendências Tecnologia Criatividade

The uniqueness and identity of a region can act as catalysts for creative initiatives. Public policies, infrastructure and local culture have the potential to create environments conducive to the development and flourishing of new ideas. In this panel, the Government of Quebec and companies born in the region will share their experiences on how a territory can shape the future of innovation. Success stories will be discussed, such as that of PixMob, the company behind experiences such as The Town's LED bracelets, Coldplay's tours and the NBA and Super Bowl games.

J-O is from Canada, leading PixMob activities in light up LED wearables. He works with clients such as Coldplay or the NBA to integrate fans into shows. PixMob invents and manufactures all its technologies.

Jason Naud | Palestrante

Jason Naud has served as Director of the Québec Government Office in São Paulo since 2020. He has more than 15 years of experience in project management and international relations. Over his career, he has developed expertise in strategic planning in addition to having worked numerous times in the context of international issues. From 2013 to 2019, his functions within the Québec Ministry of Economy and Innovation led him to support research institutions and businesses in their deployment abroad and to support the implementation of international partnerships in innovation. He holds a master's degree in international studies and a bachelor's degree in communications from the Université de Montréal.

Thaís Aun is the Director of Economic Affairs at the Québec Office in São Paulo. Her responsibilities include promoting Québec in Brazil and coordinating trade relations, innovation, and foreign investment attraction. Her areas of expertise include the creative industries and healthcare. Thaís has is a member of the Executive Committee of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce. Previously, she held various positions in Brazil and Canada in the marketing and client services fields. Currently, Thaís attends the Québec Institute of Diplomacy. She holds an MBA in Project Management from USP/ESALQ and degrees in Public Relations and Business Administration - Marketing from Niagara College (Canada).
