Marcel Desco | Palestrante

Graduated in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos, with a specialization in Administration from EAESP-FGV and Harvard Business School. He joined YDUQS in April 2018 as Pricing and Product Director. In November 2019, he assumed the Vice-Presidency of Marketing and Sales. Throughout his career, he was general manager of Luxottica for Latin America and director of New Business and Operations at Vivara. Additionally, he was a senior manager at strategic consultancy Value Partners.

Advertiser, graduated in Communication from UFRJ, with 28 years of experience. Paula has led strategy teams at Fischer, Y&R, and NBS, in charge of brands such as Telefónica, Oi, O Boticário, Coca Cola, and Petrobras. She studied innovation in Brazil and abroad and teaches at the Miami Ad School. She was a partner at Casa7 Research, where she created Casa del Otro, a brand positioning consulting firm, working for clients like Oi Futuro, Diageo, L'ORÉAL, and FARM. At Artplan, she is the National Head of Strategy and leads operations in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasília. She loves the sea and is a co-founder of KITECOAT, a company that produces jackets using upcycled kitesurfing kites.

Passionate about data, technology, and innovation, Sumi has a background in administration, finance, and economics. He aims to break down barriers from data silos and mental blocks by integrating Artificial and Human Intelligence to develop collective intelligence systems. He worked at Ogilvy and Mindshare in London and led digital marketing at Unilever Brazil on projects like Dove Evolution and Omo Dirty is Good. He was the CSO at CUBOCC, founded Kolab, a data-based intelligence center for Coca-Cola, and established FLAGCX in Rio. Today, he leads JOIN', a hub of Creativity and Science within the Dreamers group that uses experimentation to connect predictable pasts with better futures.
