Racism reflected in technology is a problem to be resolved and discussed urgently and the innovation ecosystem is an important ally in this regard. Facial safety raises concerns about algorithmic racism. As facial recognition systems become ubiquitous, the accuracy and fairness of these algorithms are questioned. How can we move towards solutions that guarantee equity and justice implementing these technologies?
