While traditional media holds broadcasting rights, the rise of streaming services and the growing presence of content creators bring new challenges and opportunities. With Felipe Tebet - Partner and Head of Digital Platforms at CazeTV - João Pedro Paes Leme - Partner and co-founder of Play9 - and Joana Timotheo, General Manager of Events at TV Globo, moderator Renata Netto will address the challenges and opportunities arising from coexistence between traditional media, streaming services and content creators. João Pedro Paes Leme is passionate by media, digital content and the creator economy. Along with youtuber Felipe Neto, he founded Play9 in 2019. The company is based on content production, influencers management and social media platforms strategies. Play9 has grown exponentially and has become an important media and influencers environment. Its portfolio includes more than 60 names, such as Fátima Bernardes, Gabriela Prioli, Paola Carosella, Erika Januza and brands such as Americanas, NBA and Amazon Prime Video. Play9 is nowadays the largest YouTube network in Brazil with over 1 billion views monthly, in addition to 4 billion views on TikTok, Instagram, Kwai and Facebook.
Joana Thimoteo | Palestrante
Graduated in journalism with a specialization in media business, Joana started her carrer at Globo's Sports Division as an intern in 2001. She lived in Beijing and Lisbon as an international executive producer before taking in charge the coverage planning of major sporting events, such as the World Cup and Olympic Games. She also created and implemented the Sports Talents Management Division. Today she is Director of Sports Broadcast at Globo, the first woman to reach this position at the company. In her current position she is responsible for planning and broadcasting more than four thousand sporting events per year. Joana is married to Pedro and Antônio and Matia's mother.

I worked in several vehicles in Brazil, such as Folha de S. Paulo, MTV Brasil, Band and Rede Globo. From 2001 onwards I specialized in sports media at ESPN Brasil. In 2019, I joined NWB, the company of Desimpedidos and Acelerados, where I was Head of Strategic Content Partnerships. In 2023, I moved to ODDZ Network (where Ronaldo Fenômeno is one of the partners), where I was New Business Manager. In 2023, I started sports consultancy at Conspiração Films, for the doc about Vinicius Jr, scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2025 And in 2024, I return to journalism, and join the Institutoconhecimento Liberta, run by economist Eduardo Moreira, where I am production director of ICL Noticias
