Representatives from Brazilian Film Commissions discuss actions and plans to enhance cities as audiovisual hubs.

Daniel Celli | Moderador
He’s been working in the audiovisual industry for 17 years and in recent years has been dedicating himself to public management, thinking about moves within public policies that stimulate the audiovisual market and its socioeconomic chain. Among them the implementation and management until the end of 2019, of the São Paulo Film Commission. He's been a consultant for the United Nations Development Program, in a Technical Cooperation Project with the Ministry of Economy, for matters related to public policies for the audiovisual industry and currently coordinates Rio Film Commission thinking of further enhancing the City of Rio de Janeiro as a destination for audiovisual productions.
Diana Iliescu | Palestrante
Graduated in Cinema at Universidade Federal Fluminense and Master's student in Social Memory at UNIRIO. Film director, curator and producer. Received the Outstanding Cultural Expression awards at the 2003 Brazilian University Film Festival for the film "Colombina", the 2008 Angu de Ouro Award for the film "A Lenda de Fundação" and the 2017 Maestro Guerra-Peixe de Cultura de Petrópolis award for the film "Ordenha" . For 15 years, she ran Ginja Filmes & Produções, a producer of films, film shows, plays, exhibitions and urban interventions. She was Counselor representing the Serrana Region in the State Council of Cultural Policies RJ and President of the Municipal Council of Culture of Petrópolis.
Thaylane Cristina | Palestrante
Thaylane Cristina holds a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies from Centro Universitário UNA and currently serves as the coordinator of the Belo Horizonte Film Commission, located within the Municipal Department of Culture in Belo Horizonte. She completed part of her academic studies on exchange at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, in Portugal. Thaylane works as a cultural manager with a focus on audiovisual projects and also has experience as a producer, editor, art director, and director of audiovisual works, specializing in documentary films, experimental videos, and fiction. She is also the creator of the audiovisual training project CineLab.
Ana Carolina Araujo | Palestrante
She has a degree in Educommunication from the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP), Radio and TV from FIAM-FAAM and Marketing Management from ETEC Carlos de Campos. She has been with Spcine for 6 years and is currently the coordinator of the São Paulo Film Commission, collaborating with other municipal departments in the process of authorizing the filming of all national and international productions made in the city of São Paulo. She also works on developing and improving procedures for filming in the municipality, contributing to the audiovisual sector and public management with the aim of promoting management that favors the growth of the audiovisual sector, strengthening film production in the city.
