Fraud: How to Protect Your Copyright

In this panel, the main types of fraud in works and phonogram registrations will be addressed. The objective is not restricted only to exposing fraudulent practices, but also to guide the music market, with special attention to independent artists. In addition, the appropriate punishments and the strong investment in technology made by collective management to combat this type of crime will be highlighted.

Among the songs she co-wrote , hits such as “Desce Pro Play (PAPAPA)” - a numer 1 song that took Brazil by storm, sung by Anitta, Mc Zaac and Tyga; also for Anitta, “Não Perco Meu Tempo”. bibi also co-wrote 4 tracks in ''Nós, Voz, Eles 2'' by Sandy, and more than half of Wanessa Camargo's, OutroEu's and Chameleo's albuns. In addition to works with Pabllo Vittar, Luisa Sonza, Mariana Nolasco, Junior Lima, Pedro Mariano, Atitude 67 and others. She is now preparing her artist work, bringing to life the songs that could only fit her voice. Music is not just a job, it is her way of seeing the world, the most sacred part of the soul and it shall continue that way :)

Specialist in Strategic Communication and Branding from ESPM, with 15 years of experience in the communication and entertainment market. With vast experience in the music industry, he has worked for major companies in the sector. He created the first portal dedicated to the music industry in Brazil, Mundo da Música, which later merged with POPline to become Popline Biz. Today, he works as Head of Communication and Marketing at UBC (Brazilian Union of Composers), where he coordinates projects such as the "Por Elas Que Fazem a Música" Report and the "Troféu Tradições."

Fábio Geovane- Graduated in Mathematics from UFF and in IT, with a postgraduate degree from Puc Rio in project management. UBC COO, with over 25 years of experience working in collective copyright management. At the international level, he participates as an active member of the CISAC and SCAPR technical working committees for the evolution of rules and systems that normalize the exchange of information for the defense of copyright. Fábio has extensive experience in documentation, distribution and systems involving the use of musical works.

Mario Sergio Campos | Palestrante

Mario Sergio Campos holds a degree in Systems Analysis and an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He has developed several technological projects in insurance companies, distributors and music labels, having more than 27 years of experience in business management in music copyright. He took over the executive management of Distribution at ECAD in 2009 and, since then, has carried out several projects that contribute significantly to the improvement and increase of copyright distribution results, benefiting thousands of artists year after year.
