The challenge of reaching the audience has been one of the greatest concerns for independent producers, who often put in herculean efforts to bring their films to life, but don't always succeed in securing a good placement in movie theaters. Public promotion policies and screen quotas are essential for a greater balance in this scenario, but in parallel, many initiatives have emerged in an attempt to address this bottleneck. This panel will discuss the main strategies found by distributors and independent producers in the national market to increase the visibility and audience of their productions, emphasizing the role of partnerships and support networks in building a successful release in Brazilian cinemas, respecting the expectations and goals of each film.
