"Where will the next trends come from? The best way to see early signs of 'new trends' is to understand the evolution of current trends", PopCorn. From the material gathered on cultural, behavioral, and consumer trends, we start to understand the fashion trends that reach companies and where they base their collections. The studies conducted by researchers who investigate the future signs of consumer desires, and how the fashion trends we read about in magazines during collection launches are directly related to this research carried out long before we see the collections released at fashion week shows and in the stores.

Alessandra Marins | Palestrante
Partner of the Rio Moda Institute. She has a postgraduate degree in Fashion Culture from Anhembi Morumbi University and in Business Management from Candido Mendes University, and is a journalist from FACHA. Since 1993, she has gathered experience as a stylist and buyer, since 2000 as a fashion consultant and since 2004, as a lecturer in postgraduate courses and facilitator of Collection Development workshops.
