Guto Buarque | Palestrante

Carlos Augusto "Guto" Buarque is the marketing director at Intel Brazil. At Intel since 2013, he is responsible for plans, strategies and campaigns that position Intel's innovation and technological leadership in the market. He is also responsible for engaging with the final consumer throughout the Brazilian territory. Guto is a member of the Strategic Marketing Committee of AMCHAM Brazil. He has a bachelor´s degree in Computer Engineering from UNICAMP and an MBA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and experience in other companies in the technology industry including Telefonica, Dell and Oracle.

Mariana Lemos | Palestrante

Mariana Lemos is head of Marketing & Communications at IBM Brazil. She leads a diverse and multidisciplinary team to create demand gen strategies and position today's IBM: a company focused on AI for business and Hybrid Cloud. An enthusiast of co-creation, she challenges herself daily to collaborate with IBM and market leaders in identifying new ways of doing marketing and customer experience - and why not with the use of AI? She's always eager to know where she's going next. Whether in a professional environment or outside of it, her jargon is: it's going to work! She has a degree in Public Relations from Faculdade Cásper Líbero and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from FGV.

Journalist with 17 years of experience in the IT field. Currently, she is the Content Director and Publisher of IT Forum. She has worked for Computerworld, CIO, IDG Now!, and IT Forum. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from PUC-SP, an executive degree in Marketing from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, and an MBA in Marketing from ESPM. In 2018, she won the award for best IT Journalist in Brazil, promoted by Cecom. In 2019 and 2020, she was the winner in the Telecom category. In 2023, she was a finalist for the award. She is one of the authors of the book "From Informatics to Information Technology - Journalists Tell Their Stories," published by Reality Books in 2020.
