Carlos Saldanha | Palestrante

Carlos Saldanha is a Brazilian filmmaker and one of the principle creative forces behind the Ice Age and Rio franchises at Blue Sky Studios, where his films have grossed over $2 Billion at box offices worldwide. He is a two-time Academy Award nominee, first for the animated short “Gone Nutty” (2004), and more recently, the animated feature “Ferdinand” (2017). Saldanha continues to develop projects for the Brazilian and American markets, such as his Netflix series “Invisible City” released in February 2021.

Carina Schulze | Moderadora

The screenwriter and producer Carina co-produced, alongside Guillermo Del Toro, the feature film "FESTA NO CÉU" (The Book of Life) for Fox. Carina served as the showrunner for the series "GABY ESTRELLA" and wrote and produced the eponymous feature film. Carina co-created and executive produced the action series "SEM VOLTA"; created and produced the action comedy "JUACAS"; and was the showrunner of the series "BIG TOP ACADEMY." Carina also served as showrunner for the animated series "BA DA BEAN" (Discovery Kids) and "MENINO MALUQUINHO" (Netflix). "MENINO MALUQUINHO" was nominated for an Emmy and other awards. Currently, she is writing a biopic for Amazon and a mini-series for Disney Global.
