Ale Santos | Palestrante
Cited by the Science Fiction Research Association (SFRA) as the most popular Afrofuturist author of the new generation in Brazil, his work is marked by the fusion between science fiction and Afro-Brazilian culture. Finalist of the Jabuti award twice and finalist of the CCXP Awards. He is recognized for his ability to create narratives that explore themes such as Afrocentricity, ancestry, resistance, and imaginative future.
Paulo Rogério Nunes | Moderador
Paulo is the co-founder of the Instituto Midia Étnica, the largest Black media, in Brazil that operates since 2005. Mr. Nunes was also a Fulbright Humphrey Fellow, at the University of Maryland, where he studied Journalism and Digital Media and also is an Ashoka fellow since 2008. In 2016, he created the first Black Startup accelerator in Brazil, Vale do Dendê (Dende Valley), in Salvador, Bahia. He was one of the 11 young leaders invited by the ex-president Barack Obama to a private meet in his last visit to Brazil and also spoke on the opening of the first Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago. He is also alumni at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University. He is partner of Afar Ventures.

Zaika dos Santos is a data scientist, multi-artist, curator, designer, prompt engineer, fiction writer, researcher, specialist in Artificial Intelligence, scientific popularizer of Speculative Movements such as Afrofuturism, Africanfuturism and Afropresentism, cryptoartist and NFT and Web 3.0 researcher. CEO of the company Afrofuturismo Arte e STEM, an innovative company that combines Generative Design, CGI, Data Science, Human Sciences, Exact Sciences, STEAM and Education 5.0 to create innovative and transformative solutions. She is a director, producer and editor of speculative fiction. She is the main coordinator of the Black Speculative Arts Movement Brasil.
