Geisa Lino é nascida e criada no Morro do Timbau na Maré. Iniciou nos projetos na Redes da Maré aos 15 anos e hoje atua como diretora, gerente de produção e coordenadora de comunicação institucional promovendo eventos culturais como Mostra Maré de Música, além de editais e oficinas de educação, comunicação e cultura. Também é diretora de comunicação e produção do Festival WOW - Women of the World Festival, o Festival Mulheres do Mundo. Em 2022 atuou como coordenadora de produção para o evento 1° Encontro Nacional PerifaConnection e para a 12ª Festa Literária das Periferias (FLUP). Integrou em 2023 a Academia do Prêmio MultiShow.
