International award-winning Argentine screenwriter and filmmaker. Collaborator with award-winning Mexican filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu. Co-screenwriter of BIUTIFUL, nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and a Golden Globe for Best Picture, and BIRDMAN, winner of an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Best Picture. Showrunner, screenwriter and executive producer of the Emmy-nominated series EL PRESIDENTE. Founding partner of About Entertainment, where he develops his fiction projects, and co-founder of Rebolución, an award-winning commercial production company. In this conversation with author, director and producer Carolina Kotscho and producer Rodrigo Teixeira, he will talk about his creative process and his journey as a creator of films and series, the impact of the Oscars on his career, his relationship with advertising and the importance of innovating and connecting narratives to the future.

Carolina Kotscho has been an author, director and producer for almost 30 and loves to turn real stories into great dramaturgy hits on TV and cinema. ‘2 Filhos de Francisco’ was her first feature film script, followed by works such as ‘Flores Raras’ and ‘Não Pare na Pista - A Melhor História de Paulo Coelho’. On TV Globo, she wrote the series ‘Te Quiero America’, ‘A Teia’, ‘Supermax’, ‘Hebe’ and the second season of ‘Aruanas’. Carolina was a contracted author of TV Globo for 13 years and was elected president of AC and ABRA, the brazilian associations of screenwriters, in three terms. She is a founding partner of Loma Filmes and is currently dedicated to the development of Maria da Penha’s biography.

Founded by Rodrigo Teixeira, RT Features is one of the main audiovisual production companies in Latin America and the most prominent Brazilian producer in the international market. Its films are internationally recognized, having been nominated for over 40 awards - including 6 Oscar and 4 Golden Globe nominations. It has produced, among other films, Call Me By Your Name (2017), by Luca Guadagnino, winner of the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Producer Rodrigo Teixeira is a member of the U.S. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, responsible for the Academy Awards, and since 2017 has been on Variety's 500 Most Important People in Global Media list.
