Bionica Filmes

Biônica Filmes was founded in 2012 and has already produced four TV series and eighteen feature films, some of them with international partners. Our most recent production, "Toll" (2023), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, its director Carolina Markowicz receiving the Emerging Talent award, and has accumulated 15 other awards so far. Throughout the 12 years' history of the company, took more than 6 million people to the movies, and was three times responsible for the year’s top box office film in Brazil. The produced films have been selected for more than 60 international festivals, and nominated for several international awards including an Emmy.
