Pedro Évora, an architect and professor at PUC Rio, is recognized for his work that blends innovation and art with architecture. As the principal partner of Rua and Évora Arquitetura e Projetos Especiais, he is accredited by Audi and BMW for their stores in Brazil. He has completed important projects such as the Carpintaria and Babilônia 1500 galleries, Casa do Jongo, Galpão Bela Maré, ArtRio and was a co-curator at Europalia. His companies operate from residential architecture to urban design. With works exhibited at MoMA and the Venice Biennales, he was nominated for the Mies Van der Rohe Award, winning the competition for the Rio2016 Olympic Golf Club headquarters.
