Mariana Ribas is Executive Undersecretary at the Municipal Secretariat of Culture of the City of Rio de Janeiro. With a degree in Social Communication, specializing in Cultural Journalism, she served, at the Ministry of Culture, as Executive Secretary and National Secretary of Audiovisual, between 2016 and 2018. She was part of the collegiate director of the National Cinema Agency (Ancine), was Municipal Secretary of Culture of Rio and president of RioFilme. At MinC, she led organizational restructuring processes and worked on the execution of relevant investment lines for the development of the audiovisual sector.
