Mariana Oliva is a partner at Maria Farinha Films (MFF), the leading production company in Latin America dedicated to creating impact entertainment that helps accelerate social and environmental change. With 15 years of experience, she was the executive producer of the second season of hit drama series Aruanas (Globoplay); documentaries such as The Beginning of Life 2, A Crime Amongst Us and Elza. She also produced the Oscar® Nominated Netflix Original The Edge of Democracy (Netflix). Mariana directed and produced the documentary Piripkura awarded at IDFA, Rio Int. Film Festival. She is also a member of The Academy of Sciences and Motion Pictures.
