DANIEL VAN HOOGSTRATEN is the founder of SYNDROME FILMS, a Brazilian production company. He produced internationally acclaimed productions such as DIAMANTINO, that won the Grand Prize at La Semaine de La Critique at Cannes; and THE OTHER END, which won Best Actress and Best Film at the Rio Film Festival. Also worked as a line producer on films for AMAZON STUDIOS, and produced the podcast FOLLOW THE MONEY (Globoplay original), has frequently served as an EMMY INTERNATIONAL juror, managed the market area for the Rio Film Festival (RIOMARKET), and collaborated on the creation of RIOCONTENTMARKET, now RIO2C. Currently, Daniel is Executive Producer at MIP CANCUN, and has several productions in development.
