Ukbar Filmes
Ukbar Filmes is a film production company founded in Lisbon in 2009 and, currently, one of the main independent film and television production companies in Portugal. We co-produced, among others, the long-awaited feature film by Terry Gilliam, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote and the feature film Gaza, Mon Amour, by Tarzan and Arab Nasser, Palestinian candidate for the Oscar for Best International Film. The focus on audiovisual content led us to produce Operação Maré Negra, the first Portuguese-Spanish series on Amazon Prime Video in partnership with RTP, co-produced with Ficción Producciones; and Turn of the Tide, currently in post production of its second and third seasons for Netflix.
